Group Mentoring
Girls are split up in groups: Ages 8-11, 12-14 & 15-18 engage in group mentorship led by 2 mentor facilitators. Self Esteem Building, Character Building, Conflict Resolution and Positive Peer Interactions are some of the key topics through the 9 week session. Girls interact with each other, work on a volunteer project and engage in a fundraising activity over the 9 weeks. Upon completion of the 9-week session they are presented with a T-Shirt & Certificate of Completion.
One-on-one Mentoring
Referrals are submitted from schools, social service agencies, parents and other individuals. We connect girls ages 8-18 with a mentor that provides
8-10hrs of service a month based on their individual needs.
Read A Thon
Girls ages 8-14 engage in weekly book reviews along with learning ways to build a summary of the book readings over a
4 week period. Facilitators assist girls with literacy & comprehension while making reading fun and engaging.
Volunteer Projects
As an organization the volunteers, mentees and parents engage in quarterly volunteer projects to give back to the community. Through our volunteer efforts we promote goodness & provide a way to improve human quality of life.
Workshops & Conferences
Throughout the year we host workshops and conferences over topics that affect the female gender and provide testimonials that are used to heal and motivate. Women and girls gather together to help enrich the lives of one another and to increase the value of sisterhood.
